New Guest Act Coming to Ripken Stadium!

Welcome back IronBirds fans! Throughout the next few months, we are going to be taking a look at some of the promotional nights for the 2014 season.  We have some new theme nights and promotional groups coming out this year to make sure 2014 is the best season yet!  Today I am very excited to announce  a new theme night and guest act that will be at Ripken Stadium this summer.

On July 10th, we will be hosting our first Rodeo Night!  This will be similar to Western Nights in the past so we are going to encourage all our fans to dust off their cowboy boots and hats and wear them out to the stadium.

The most exciting part of Rodeo Night will be our guest act.  This guest act has never been to Ripken Stadium but has been touring the country for years. This is also the night I am personally most excited about.   This new guest act is……Cowboy Monkey Rodeo!

Cowboy Monkey Rodeo has performed for the Denver Broncos, the Indiana Pacers, the Cincinnati Bengals and over 30 minor league teams a year. Recently ESPN’s E:60 had a special on the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo.  The segment even featured clips of the “Ghost Rider” performing for our neighbors, the Wilmington Blue Rocks.   You can watch the clip below!

Fans, make sure to mark your calendars for July 10th because I know everyone will

want to be out at Ripken Stadium to see this act.  Also, don’t forget to wear your Cowboy boots and your Cowboy hat! Yeehaw!

Don’t forget to keep sending in your questions for Mailbox Monday as well!  You can email them to us at blog@aberdeenironbirds.com. Check back Monday to see if yours is answered!

Until then… Go IronBirds!
